IT Support Associate

We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and proactive IT Support Associate to join our growing team at Saltus. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining and evolving our internal IT systems, integrating cutting edge solutions, and delivering exceptional support to our employees. Whether it’s troubleshooting a technical issue, exploring innovative IT automation, or managing vendor relationships, you’ll be at the forefront of keeping our technology running seamlessly.

Saltus is a privately owned financial planning and discretionary investment management house. We are dedicated to providing a high-quality service for private clients, trusts, and smaller institutions.

Saltus Partners was founded in 2004 and has grown organically and through a small number of carefully integrated acquisitions. Originally the business started out as an investment manager and has now developed the financial planning side of the offering, putting this at the forefront of the client relationship.

Today Saltus manages and advises on over £11 billion of client assets, acquired through a combination of organic business growth and corporate acquisitions.

What does this role look like?

Reporting to the Head of IT, you’ll be responsible for:

• Employee IT Support:
  • Provide 1st line IT support to employees across multiple sites.
  • Handling and resolving IT queries, from filtering and distribution to actioning support requests.
  • Providing first line support for CRM and other business-critical applications.
  • Writing technical support guides for technician and user consumption

• Vendor Management:
  • Collaborating with third-party IT suppliers to implement and optimize solutions.

• Hardware Management:
  • Managing hardware across multiple locations and ensuring users are equipped with the tools they need.

The successful candidate will have: 

Technical Skills:

• Experience supporting and administering 365 infrastructure and applications

• Experience supporting windows devices

• Experience support Mac, IOS and Android devices

Qualifications & Experience:

• A degree in Computer Science or a similar analytical/numerate subject.

• At least one year of experience in a technical support role, preferably within financial services.

• Experience improving business processes using technology solutions.

• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Where will I be working?

We are looking for someone to be based out of our Whiteley or London office, and offer hybrid working, which includes 2 days in the office, with the remainder at home. We’re incredibly flexible about when and how you work: we don’t want anyone to be prevented from coming to work for Saltus as a result of the working pattern that they’re looking for. We are passionate about championing flexible working for our people, so if there’s a slightly different working pattern that you’re looking for, then please come and have a chat to us about it!

What benefits do I get when working for Saltus?

The salary is between £24,000-28,000pa depending on experience, alongside 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays), life assurance, income protection and a pension, alongside access to our flexible benefits platform. The role is 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 8.30-5.30pm.
