Saltus wins PAM Award for Investment Performance – Defensive Portfolios

13 March 2026

Saltus Asset Management is pleased to announce that it has won the PAM Award for Investment Performance – Defensive Portfolios at the 2026 PAM Awards, recognising the firm’s outstanding riskadjusted returns over the past three years.

The PAM Awards are among the most respected accolades in the UK wealth management industry, celebrating excellence and consistency across the sector. This year, Saltus was shortlisted across every available investment performance category, demonstrating the depth and strength of its proposition across all risk profiles.

Saltus was nominated in the following categories:

  • Investment Performance – Cautious Portfolios
  • Investment Performance – Defensive Portfolios (Winner)
  • Investment Performance – Growth Portfolios
  • Investment Performance – High Growth Portfolios

The Defensive Portfolios award recognises firms that have delivered the strongest riskadjusted total returns for clients over the past three years (0.4–0.6 relative risk to world equities), net of fees and before tax.

Adam Long, Managing Director of Saltus Asset Management, said:

“We are pleased to have been shortlisted across every category and to have won the award for Defensive Portfolios. This is a direct reflection of the work of our investment team. Congratulations to David Cooke, Charles Ambler, and the wider team for their contribution.”

The judging panel assesses firms on both quantitative and qualitative data including performance, risk management, and investment process, making this recognition an important benchmark of Saltus’ approach across all client mandates.
