Stuart’s role is to help clients and advisers unlock the full potential of our platform. He translates platform capabilities into solutions that drive value and efficiency and supports them as they partner with Saltus to make their wealth a positive force for their future. 

Stuart previously worked as Chief Operating Officer for HSBC’s Treasury Trading desks in the UK. He supported the trading teams managing the bank’s portfolio of High-Quality Liquid Assets and led the Treasury execution project supporting the emergency acquisition and integration of Silicon Valley Bank UK into HSBC’s operating model. He also led the issuance of the first tokenised security using Distributed Ledger Technology under English Law in Hong Kong.  

Prior to this, Stuart was a consultant Project Manager. He built out HSBC’s UK ring-fenced bank in response to post-crisis legislation, before “going native” and moving from consulting to the bank’s COO team. 

Earlier in his career, Stuart was a Logistics Officer in the Royal Navy. He served aboard HMS Dragon and HMS Diamond, which took him around the world from Antarctica to the Caribbean.
