Michael Hill
Michael has worked within financial services in a regulated role since 1985, initially working with Sun Life presenting investment seminars and advising clients some of whom along with their family he still looks after to the present day. He went on to establish his own IFA practice in Bath in 1991 before joining Beckford James prior to their merger with Saltus in 2022.
Michael works with the more senior members of the community and their families more often in conjunction with their solicitors and accountants. He has experience of helping clients who are facing difficult and complex decisions in respect of their later life financial planning, and which include retirement income, estate planning combining the implementation of trusts and in more recent years the growing concerns of how to fund for care.
At home...
Michael lives in a village just outside of Bath and when not as his desk enjoys spending time with his family, attending to the garden, walking to the local hostelries, and travelling abroad. He is a follower of Bath Rugby, Formula 1 motor racing and Liverpool FC. He also has a large, dormant model railway which now requires attention for the benefit of grandchildren.
