Relationship Manager
Introduction
We are looking for a high-calibre Relationship Manager to join the Personal Advice Desk (“PAD”). The ideal candidate must have excellent telephone communication skills and be able to troubleshoot and process work in a timely and efficient manner, co-ordinating client requitements with advisers and client support.
The Personal Advice Desk is responsible for running our Saltus Select Propositions which services our smaller clients, typically those <£250,000 or with less complex needs, by providing at distance (using technology) advice. This includes annual suitability reviews and ad-hoc advice requirements over the phone/Teams/zoom.

Role and responsibilities
The role responsibilities include the following:
- You will be completing client updates for Annual Reviews which form a key part of the contractual agreement with our clients.
- You will be dealing with incoming and outgoing calls, supporting the advisers by contacting existing clients to offer a financial review, updating information to confirm the suitability of their existing plans under management on an ongoing basis.
- Management of a bank of existing clients.
- Reviewing the clients existing file to understand their situation in preparation for the Annual Review. Typically, these reviews will be over the phone.
- If the client has any additional needs or their circumstances have changed, they will be referred on to a qualified adviser to address.
- Managing the delivery of outstanding tasks with the adviser /support
- Updating of internal client information systems and records.
- Preparation of Post Review pack and confirmation paperwork.

- Good time and diary management skills
Technical Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
- Good time and diary management skills
- Experience of speaking to clients on the telephone.
- A good understanding of CRM systems and working within process.
- A good knowledge of Financial Services, in particularly within the Financial Adviser arena is desirable, although not essential.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Comfortable working with various IT packages.
- Some experience of back office and CRM systems would be beneficial.
Where will I be working?
We are looking for someone for our Whiteley, Bournemouth or Bath office, and offer hybrid working, which includes 2 days in the office, with the remainder at home. We’re incredibly flexible about when and how you work: we don’t want anyone to be prevented from coming to work for Saltus as a result of the working pattern that they’re looking for.
