Alex is the Managing Director of Saltus Financial Planning, where he combines leadership with a hands-on approach to client relationships, looking after a select group of longstanding clients. Alex believes that trust and integrity are the cornerstones of effective financial planning. By empowering regional financial planning teams with autonomy and support, he ensures they can make confident decisions that lead to exceptional client service. His leadership philosophy is rooted in collaboration, accountability, and a commitment to helping Saltus clients achieve their financial goals.

With more than 20 years of experience across the full spectrum of the client journey – from administration and report writing to investment advice and senior leadership – Alex brings a rare depth of insight into what clients truly value. This comprehensive understanding informs the way he shapes and improves working practices, helping ensure Saltus consistently delivers a service that goes beyond expectations and that decisions are made with the client’s best interests in mind.

In 2018, Alex was named one of the PAM Top 40 Under 40, which recognises the rising stars of the private client wealth management world. He is also a Certified Financial Planner and has reached the gold standard of Chartered Fellow by examination through the Personal Finance Society (PFS) and the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI). Alex volunteers his time and expertise with the PFS Education Champions initiative to educate young people as they start their journey to adulthood and begin their careers.
