The simplest way to describe Jamie’s role is as a financial GP for his clients. He specialises in creating personalised financial plans designed to help clients achieve their goals, while offering ongoing advice and support through life’s ups and downs.
Previously, Jamie worked as a Statistician at the Office for National Statistics, analysing economic trade statistics. After deciding to pursue a career as a financial planner, he joined Brunel Capital Partners in 2019 and transitioned to Saltus following its acquisition of Brunel.
Motivated by a desire to work more closely with people, Jamie embraced financial planning as a way to combine his technical expertise and attention to detail with meaningful, face-to-face client engagement. Since making the switch, he has been fully committed to supporting his clients’ financial wellbeing and hasn’t looked back.

Jamie can be found belting around the south west on his bike with his partner Lizzie, cobbling together new recipes at his home in Bath with their neurotic cat Tiswas, or clocking up the miles rowing on the Avon.
