Matt specialises in pre and post-retirement planning and strives to deliver advice in a clear and straightforward manner, avoiding the use of unnecessary jargon. He believes in building long standing relationships with clients, often over decades, to ensure a good understanding of their circumstances, needs and objectives.
Matt joined Forrester-Hyde in 1988, clocking up over 35 years of experience in financial services before the merger with Saltus in 2024. He is both a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Financial Planner. At Forrester-Hyde, he held the roles of Chief Executive Officer and Head of Compliance.
Matt’s approach is rooted in trust, clarity, and continuity. He is dedicated to guiding clients through every stage of retirement, helping them feel secure in their financial future.

Matt is married and has two teenage daughters. Outside of work he enjoys volleyball, cycling, skiing, and walking the family dogs. His weakness? A costly passion for old cars, especially Land Rovers.
