Matthew Barber
Matt joined Forrester-Hyde in 1988, clocking up over 35 years of experience in financial services before the merger with Saltus in 2024. He is both a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Financial Planner. At Forrester-Hyde, he held the roles of Chief Executive Officer and Head of Compliance.
Matt specialises in pre and post retirement planning and strives to deliver advice in a clear and straight forward manner, avoiding the use of unnecessary jargon. He believes in building long standing relationships with clients, often over decades, to ensure a good understanding of their circumstance, needs and objectives.
At home...
Matt is married and has 2 teenage daughters. Outside of work he enjoys volleyball, cycling, skiing and walking the family dogs. His weakness is a costly passion for old cars, especially Land Rovers.
