Tom Merchant

Tom has always loved the human element of finance. He runs financial planning workshops and financial education seminars. When he isn’t speaking publicly, Tom is often the first point of contact for prospective clients at Saltus to help determine what type of advice they may require and which of the team is most suited to their needs.

Tom has been working in finance for a decade, working at both large and small institutions. He worked for Seven Investment Management prior to joining Saltus in 2021. Tom holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Birmingham.

When he isn’t discussing people’s retirement goals and objectives, he enjoys hacking his way around a golf course, fitness pursuits and cooking up a storm for his family and friends.
