Jon Macintosh

Jon is Managing Partner of Saltus.  He is passionate about creating a culture where everyone is proud to work, and a vision for the business which challenges the norms of what clients can expect from their asset manager or wealth manager.

Before founding Saltus in 2004, Jon held various senior roles in the institutional asset management world.  These included being Managing Director of Lehman Brothers, where he was co-head of the European mezzanine credit fund, Managing Director of Deutsche Bank, a Partner of Morgan Grenfell Private Equity managing a €1.5 billion private equity buy-out fund, and before that a UK equities fund manager at Schroders.

Jon has an MA in Classics and Modern Languages from Oxford University, an MBA from INSEAD and is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.  He has held a number of non-executive roles.  He is currently Chairman of the Westbridge Private Equity Supervisory Board.   He was previously a Trustee of the charities Book Aid International and of Missing People, where he was also chair of the Development Board.

He has three children in their late teens and early twenties and enjoys running and tennis to stay fit.
