Investment Management (IM) Operations Associate
London Office | Hybrid Working (3 days office and the rest from home)
Salary between £40-55k DOE + excellent benefits
Introduction
As an Associate within the Investment Management Operations team your role involves various responsibilities related to the dealing and investment administration of the investment team. You would report to the Investment Management Operations (Manager), who in turn reports to the Chief Operations Officer.
Saltus investment managers trade OEICs/Unit Trusts, ETFs, FX, investment trusts, listed equities, bonds and occasionally structured products.
What will I be responsible for?
- Investment operations: day-to-day dealing operations, order execution, trade settlements, risk management, corporate actions, trade reconciliations and fund reporting to ACDs. Ensuring client accounts are invested according to the agreed model portfolio(s) (to within acceptable tolerance), on both the Saltus platform as well as external platforms.
- Compliance and regulatory oversight: Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies to maintain the integrity of trading operations.
Overall, you play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of trades, managing risks, and contributing to the overall success of the Asset Management business. Critically, you need to operate as ‘part’ of the Saltus Asset Management team focused on service delivery to support the SAM business strategy.
As a IM Operations Associate, you will generally have / be:

Where will I be working?
We’re incredibly flexible about where, when, and how you work: we don’t want anyone to be prevented from coming to work for Saltus as a result of the working pattern that they’re looking for. You will be based out of our London office for three days each week, working the remainder of the week from home. You’ll also need to be able to travel to our other office locations, as required by the role. What benefits do I get when working for Saltus?
The salary range is £40,000-55,000 dependent on experience, alongside 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays), life assurance, income protection and a pension, alongside access to our flexible benefits platform. The role is 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 8.30am-5.30pm.
