Introduction
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Administrator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have top-notch communication skills and be able to troubleshoot and process work in a timely and efficient manner.

Saltus is a privately owned financial planning and discretionary investment management house. We are dedicated to providing a high-quality service for private clients, trusts, and smaller institutions. Saltus Partners was founded in 2004 and has grown organically and through a small number of carefully integrated acquisitions. Originally the business started out as an investment manager and has now developed the financial planning side of the offering, putting this at the forefront of the client relationship.
Today Saltus manages and advises on over £11.4 billion of client assets, acquired through a combination of organic business growth and corporate acquisitions.
What does this role look like?
The key areas of the role are as follows:
- Answering and directing calls that come in on the main line in a professional manner.
- Assisting with the post sorting duties, ensuring the correct action is taken for each type of post both incoming and outgoing.
- Manage shared mailboxes, supporting the Branch Manager to triage, action and route emails promptly to the appropriate team or individual.
- To assist with various facilities functions, enabling the smooth running of the office.
- Managing stationery requests and ordering office supplies as necessary.
- Liaising with third-party providers and financial advisers to coordinate requests, resolve queries and ensure timely follow-up.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of Financial Advisers and internal staff.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Responsible for creating a welcoming client experience during visits.

Where will I be working?
We are looking for someone to be based from our Truro office on a part time basis of 3 days a week and work between the hours of 09.00 – 17.00. We’re incredibly flexible about when and how you work: we don’t want anyone to be prevented from coming to work for Saltus as a result of the working pattern that they’re looking for.
