March 2026
PAD Financial Planner
Introduction
We are looking for a high-calibre qualified or trainee Financial Planner to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding services to our valued clients. As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your skills and expertise will be put to the test every day. With a focus on financial planning and discretionary investment management, you’ll be an integral part of ensuring that our clients’ assets are managed efficiently and effectively.
The Personal Advice Desk (PAD) is the team responsible for the delivery of the Select proposition, a fully functioning component of Saltus Financial Planning. PAD facilitates the management of our smaller clients, typically those with investible assets between £50,000 to £250,000.
The team consists of two core functions: Relationship Management and Advice. Whilst the Relationship Managers are responsible for the ongoing relationship with Select clients, any advice needs are actioned by the advice team. Traditionally, some advisers begin as trainee advisers on the Saltus Financial Planner Pathway and PAD provides them the experience to complete their stage 1 and stage 2 competent adviser status (CAS) assessments. This may lead to a long term adviser role in PAD or moving to Premier and managing their own client bank, as opportunities arise.
