Head of Change Delivery

As a rapidly growing company, we are seeking a dedicated Head of Change Delivery to drive the execution of our strategic initiatives and ensure successful project outcomes. Responsible for overseeing the construction of the Saltus business wide project portfolio and then overseeing the delivery of those projects across the organisation. This role plays a critical function in driving the execution of our strategy through the prioritisation, roadmap timing and implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring successful project outcomes and a focus on return on investment.

Saltus Partners was founded in 2004 and has grown both organically and through a small number of carefully integrated acquisitions. Originally, the business started out as an asset management firm and has developed the financial planning side of the offering, now putting this at the forefront of the client relationship. We have a unique investment offering with particular expertise in alternative asset classes. The team have produced industry leading risk adjusted returns due to their approach.

Today, Saltus manages and advises on over £3.2 billion of client assets.

 

The Role and Responsibilities:

You will lead work on a day-to-day basis to:

  • Develop and maintain the Project Portfolio: Identify, prioritise, and align projects with business objectives to create a comprehensive project portfolio that adapt to business needs and market conditions, supporting delivery of the organisation’s strategy.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively to support project delivery and monitor resource utilisation and make adjustments where required to keep work on track.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks to minimize potential disruptions and ensure project success.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status. Evaluate project outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement in how we deliver change.
  • Change Management: Implement change management strategies to facilitate organisational change and ensure project success is integrated into the broader business environment. This will include the creation of learning and development content and external course options for project managers and business analysts.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating project outcomes, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and implementing best practices.

 

The Person:

The successful candidate will be confident in dealing with HNW clients and institutional intermediaries in a sophisticated and thoughtful way, whilst thriving in a sales driven environment. The role may suit a sales person looking to have a significant impact on strategy whilst also having the ability to earn uncapped commission.

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, project management or related field,
  • Minimum 5+ years as a complex change projects from initiation to completion, within budget and timeline constraints
  • Project management certification such as PMP/Certified Scrum Master,
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in setting strategic direction
  • Financial Services industry experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards

  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with teams across Saltus and our external partners to achieve common goals.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and find effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions, technologies, and business needs.
  • Embracing Simplification: Demonstrate the ability to simplify complexity to enhance clarity, efficiency, and effectiveness

 

Remuneration and benefits

£100,000 – £120,000 base salary depending upon experience, generous holiday allowance and benefits (private medical, pension, income protection, death in service and flexible benefits platform). Relevant exam support after the successful completion of a probationary period.

We’re flexible about where you work between home and office with a strong hybrid working culture. We do however ask that people typically spend 2 days a week in the office, which in this case will be our Solent Office at Whiteley, Hampshire.
