Project Manager (12 Month FTC)
London Office | Hybrid Working (2 days office / 3 days home)
Salary between £70k-80k DOE + excellent benefits
Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Business Transformation team on a 12 month fixed term contract to lead initiatives that vary in scale and complexity, from quick, small-scale changes to long-term implementations focused specifically on regulatory compliance. This role requires a blend of strong project management capability and deep subject matter expertise in the regulatory space. You will be accountable for ensuring regulatory requirements are not only delivered but also effectively embedded across the business, strengthening compliance and building organisational resilience.

Role and responsibilities
As a Project Manager working on Regulatory Portfolio you will lead the planning, management, and execution of strategic projects and initiatives that drive the company’s growth objectives, focused specifically on regulatory compliance. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders across the business to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while maintaining the company’s standards for quality and risk management.
The role is responsible for:
- Managing and delivering a portfolio of regulatory change projects, from tactical enhancements to strategic, cross-business initiatives.
- Monitoring delivery progress, manage risks and issues, and produce high-quality governance reporting for senior leadership.
- Providing subject matter expertise on regulatory areas such as operational resilience, SM&CR and others relevant regulations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain policies, frameworks, procedures, and comprehensive project documentation.
- Partnering with Compliance, Risk, Operations, Finance, and senior stakeholders to ensure regulatory requirements are understood, interpreted, and applied consistently.
- Embedding changes into business operations through training, guidance and ongoing support, ensuring sustainable adoption.
Essential attributes the successful candidate should possess
- Proven experience delivering regulatory change within financial services.
- Professional project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP)
- Strong expertise in key regulatory frameworks and regimes, including but not limited to Operational Resilience, ICARA, and SM&CR.
- Experience drafting and maintaining policies, frameworks, and procedures.
- Experience in change management and familiarity with change management frameworks and tools.
- Proven ability to successfully manage and deliver multiple complex projects simultaneously, prioritising effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences, influence stakeholders at all organisational levels, and build successful professional relationships both internally and externally.
- Self-motivated with exceptional time management skills, able to organise workload effectively, prioritise tasks, and work autonomously to meet objectives and deadlines under pressure.
Where will I be working?
We are looking for someone to work from our London office, and we offer hybrid working, which includes 2 days in the office, with the remainder at home. We’re incredibly flexible about when and how you work: we don’t want anyone to be prevented from coming to work for Saltus as a result of the working pattern that they’re looking for. What benefits do I get when working for Saltus?
The salary is £70,000 – £80,000 depending on experience, alongside 28 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays), life assurance, income protection and a pension, alongside access to our flexible benefits platform. The role is 40 hours per week between the hours of 8.30-5.30pm.
