Gianpaolo Mantini

Gianpaolo (‘GP’ to most) works differently to much of the industry. Initial conversations deliberately try to avoid all financial matters. He is far more interested in the aspects of your life that make up who you, and your family are, and importantly, where you want to be. Ultimately, he works to understand your aspirations so your finances can be better aligned with what you value most, and decisions then made with greater clarity.

Gianpaolo was a founding member of the Initiative for Financial Wellbeing and was in the first cohort to attain the Certificate in Financial Wellbeing. He uses these insights when providing strategic, reality-focused advice with coaching to both successful executives and business owners – especially at key life transitions. Interactive cashflow modelling is often used to help your decision-making process and illuminate key considerations during your expected life stages.

GP has worked in financial services since 2001 and became a Chartered Financial Planner in 2008; an accreditation secured through extensive examination and commitment to professional development. He founded Higgins Fairbairn Advisory, one of fewer than 300 Chartered Financial Planning firms in 2010 before merging with Saltus in May 2022.

Outside work, GP spends much of his spare time with his wife Aoife and their two children in rural Bedfordshire with their dopey chocolate lab.

He is a mini rugby coach at Ampthill RUFC as well as being a partner in the ‘kid’s taxi service LLP’…. If he has the time, he loves to cook, taking inspiration from the Mediterranean and Asia.
